The line for wire patenting

In July 2006 the Company Remix. S.A. delivered the line for wire patenting, LOD -40 type, to one of the leading wire producers in Poland.
LOD-40 Line is applied for wire heat treatment in fluid bed, made of corundum within the range of temperature from 300ºC to 550ºC and with the capacity of 40 tons/24 hours.
The line, LOD-40 type, consists of the following appliances:
- gas furnace of cooling zone , PSCH-03/40 type,
- (working temperature: 350º C, 2 heating zones, power of heating system: 2x160kW)
- gas furnace of buffer zone ,PSB-04/40 type,
- ( working temperature:450ºC, 1 heating zone, power of heating system: 240 kW)
- electric furnace of holding zone , PSW-06/40 type,
- (working temperature: 600ºC, 1 heating zone, power of heating system: 50kW)
- set of control cabinets,
- gas”garden” for maintaining and conveyance of air and gas to burners at PSCH and PSB furnaces and air supply for cooling in the PSCH furnace,
- chimney system.
The control system of LOD-40 line is based on PLC controller and SIEMENS operator’s panel. It provides for the control and measurement functions, the visualisation, the signalling of the device condition and the automation of protection devices and blocks.
