Units for refining and modification of cast alloys

We offer also units for refining and modification of aluminium alloys which construction is based on licence of Foundry Institute in Cracow. Now our offer includes series of types of units presented in the table number one. All types of units presented in the table (except URM-1/C) may be equipped with feeder for loose modifier (marked with lettet X). These units may work in an automatic and as well as in a manual cycle. Unit URM-1 is designed for gas-slag refining and modification of liquid aluminium alloys. The photograph presents a simplified version of unit URM-1/A designed for refining with inert gases (N2 or Ar). This unit is mounted on stationary base UP-1/A which enables refining of casts in crucible (ladle).Described unit may be enlarged by the tank and feeder in the place of the gas ferrule. Main feature of this unit is simple construction which decreases the exploitation expenses and simplifies the service. Refining process is carried out by Remix equipment which improves the quality of alloy and as a result improves the quality of casts.
